REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPY
Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver’s West End, pHresh Spa + Wellness Club is proud to offer massage therapy with Registered Massage Therapists.
*Please be advised that any requests for an RMT must always be clearly specified when booking an appointment, as RMTs generally have limited availability and are not valid with vouchers, gifts cards, certificates or promotions.
Do you suffer from any of the following?
- Tight muscles or painful joints
- Low back or neck pain
- Headaches or TMJ
- Shoulder or wrist pain
- Postural weakness and discomfort
- Injuries sustained in a car accident
- Stress, tension, anxiety, or depression
Your treatment will begin with a comprehensive consultation and assessment to determine what type of massage treatment is best suited to your needs. RMT treatments are performed by a Registered Massage Therapist in a relaxing, quiet and comfortable setting with padded, heated massage tables, and we will provide you with an official invoice for your service, for which you can be reimbursed in full or in part by your extended health care plan. We do not offer direct billing at this time.
Our Registered Massage Therapists do not perform the combination “spa” services including facials or foot scrubs – we apologize for any inconvenience.
Get the most out of your massage therapy treatment! Warm your muscles, detoxify and relax before your massage with a private session in our infrared sauna!
Our non-registered massage services are performed by Certified Bodywork Practitioners who have been trained in anatomy and physiology, as well as several different modalities of massage. Their skilled hands can effectively help relieve stiff joints, sore, tense muscles, relieve chronic pain, and offer respite from stress.
RELAXATION MASSAGE uses smooth, gliding strokes. The primary purpose will be to help you relax, and your therapist will use a lighter pressure. During a relaxation massage there is less emphasis on working out serious adhesions or knots in the muscle tissue and the therapist won’t push your pain limits in order to get the muscle to release. Health benefits include calming the nervous system, promoting a sense of well-being, improving blood circulation and stimulating the body’s lymphatic system, which carries away waste products.
60 Minutes – $99 | 75 Minutes – $119 | 90 Minutes – $139
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. It is extremely effective for chronic pain, tight muscles and sports related injuries.
60 Minutes – $110 | 75 Minutes – $130 | 90 Minutes – $150
HOT STONE MASSAGE Uses smooth, heat-retaining basalt stones, the treatment provides a deep, penetrating warmth, that soothes the body and relaxes muscles while also promoting the balance of energies within the body. Hot Stone massage improves increased circulation and toxin flush, which can encourage self-healing.
60 Minutes – $120 | 75 Minutes – $140 | 90 Minutes – $155
REFLEXOLOGY is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet. Reflexologists believe that these areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them has a beneficial effect on the organs and person’s general health. For example, reflexology holds that a specific spot in the arch of the foot corresponds to the bladder point. Reflexology treatments can be very relaxing, and an effective treatment can help to improve the overall posture and functioning of the body.
